Ok, so you had a bad experience *once* and now you don't even want to
try again? I don't knowwhat to say, seriously. It's your call.

1. Does it happen as well on real hardware or only on vmware?
2. Can you Switch from CNEAMD.LAN to PCNTNW.LAN?

Re: Still IKE abend in Incoming Packet Process Process
I did not have this server on real hardware for over a year now, VPN
worked fine for months, than it simply stopped working for no reason
(around the time I introduced Universal Passwords, but can not say it
was it)
Shall I change just for Public, or for all interfaces?

Are you suggesting pcntnw.lan works better? I just worked on a VMware
server where the opposite move was done at the suggestion of VM
support. (Also saw several suggestions to that end on the Internet).
I did have to modify lines in netinfo.cfg to add slot= for the cneamd
drivers to load on reboot.

no, i'm not suggesting anything but till this guy provides a coredump,
we'll not know what is the root cause. We had similar one caused by tcp
and it was fixed on the latest tcpip stack. IKE is very sensible to
packet tampering and as i'm running my vpn on vmware with this lan
driver with no issues, it is worth a shot. If not, he will have to open
a SR with Novell and provide a coredump.

I may be beating a dead horse here, but I repeat anyways that support is
free if you have maintenance, which you say you have. Of course, you
still have to call...
