Even when you just rename the GW account, you still usually need to run
Mass Doc Ops to get access reset to their own documents. Also renaming an
account can play havoc with shared folders, especially shared folders
owned by the renamed account. You can end up with shared folders that no
longer have an owner, or seem to have the renamed account as both owner
and sharee - about all you can do at that point is delete the folder.

I used to think renaming accounts was a good idea, but it has caused me so
many problems, that I now find it easier and less damaging to create a new
account
