Remove BorderManager 3.8
Hello,
We replaced our BorderManager with another Firewall.
I unloaded the proxy and removed the startup for Bordermanager from
Autoexec.ncf
But now we get a license check from Novell (LMcheck), and they want us
to pay for BorderManager.
I removed BorderManager from NWconfig, but LMcheck still sees
leftovers.
Can i simply delete every object in ConsoleOne that relates to
Bordermanager ?
Like al objects "Novell+Bordermanager ...." and NBMRule Container ?
With kind regards,
Johan

Bordermanager is licensed byamount of users benefiting from it, which
isn't technically measurable. YOu tell them you're not using BM, and
that's it.
Butyes, you can delete all that stuff.

They have to, ask for a supervisor. There is no technical possibility to
count users using BM, so the licenses is *always* counted on an honor
base.

See above. Ask for the supervisor.

If you remove the BMgr license objects, that should be enough, I think.
