Default Adding Ports to BM3.9?

I can not seem to figure out how to get ports like tcp/udp port 1935 to
work through BM. Just a little background we use BM3.9sp1 on NW6.5sp7.
We mainly use BM for proxy and url filtering services which we subscribe
to SurfControl and as far as I can tell we don't use any special
filtering or firewall policies.

I have tried adding a new generic TCP proxy tcp and udp for port 1935
and enabling it. I also tried adding an Access rule allowing port 1935
none of these attempts have passed the Flash Communication test we are
trying to run. I can get it to work if I nat a workstation to an
external IP address which tells me it is a setting I am not getting
right inside BM any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The configuration works great for normal http traffic but we have never
been able to get other traffic like ftp or other special ports to work
through BM.

Thanks:)

Well I am getting a little further on this problem I think. I still
have a few questions:

I think I have to have to enable filter support in inetcfg for this to
work right?

On the machine using the BM proxy do I have to enter the proxy settings
any special way? We currently use a proxy.pac for our 2 proxy servers
and it is set to ip_address:8080 and I am not sure if you have to do
something creative with that file or if the proxy server handles the
special ports like 1935 or 21.

Yes, though there is more to it than that. Have a look at the URL below.

Not really.

The proxy can support other ports, but you won't be using them for a
browser and a proxy.pac file.
