Default Groupwise Messanger Chat log issues

Hello,

We have Groupwise Messanger 1.0.4.

We have recently noticed an issue with saving IM sessions.

When the user goes to File > Save Conversation, the file's fonts
somehow become jumbled.

This was a test chat we saved. When we open it in Notepad or Wordpad,
the text comes up as squares and not the actual message.

We are not sure what is causing this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Those look like non ascii characters, and they would only be visible in
html...

Right, like I said I copied it from Notepad. The characters come up as
a square. I just now tried converting that log text file to an html
document, but the font still comes up as squares.

We tried a test version of GWIM 2.02 on our servers. This seems to
work.

Any thoughts on why 1.04 would not work with saving chat sessions?
