Default Linkwall or Contentfilter

We are currently using SurfControl. With support ending in 2011 we are
considering switching to a Connectotel product. Is it better to go with the
Linkwall Suite or ContentFilter in an educational setting? We are in a high
school. Thanks for help with making this decision.

Does linkwall cause the same issues we are having with surfcontrol
(during reload of the database, all internet access is blocked for one
minute (the duration of the DB reload)? Or will internet access remain
up and running during a refresh of the rules ?

Whenever you load a 3rd party filter, you get that delay.

However, the Linkwall doesn't take that long to load.

We run both the Suite and Content Filter. 3 years running no real issues.

Access will be blocked, but not as long as SurfControl.
