Default BM38 Not Accepting Groupwise email.

Hi-

New BM38sp5 server nw6sp6. GW7 running on seperate server. All was
running perfect until the BM36 server hard drive failed last week.

With a spanking new server and filters up I can receive emails but I
cannot send emails. With filters down I can send and receive emails. So
I have a filtering problem. Where do I go from here.

I have the working with filters book but this new interface is simple
but not what i am familiar with. Plus there are those extra rules that
is s confusing.

I think I may have a duplicate filter issue. How do I check for
duplicate filters? or How can i find the exception that is blocking my
emails from going out?

Thanks.

Look closely at the filter exceptions for typos, or missing filter
exceptions.

Extra rules? You mean filter exceptions?

If you have my filtering book, just look up the SMTP example for
outbound through NAT. A single stateful exception should work.

Exceptions never block (unless your filtering is backwards). If you
have two exceptions, both will allow traffic.
