On July 26 there was a power outtage. Since that time the server has
crashed and re-booted itself every morning between around 6:30 and
7:30
am. Once it crashed at 2:00am and once at 6:30pm. The abend log is clean. There is no record of any errors in the Server log other than
mirrored drives being out of synch - which would make sense after a
server
crash. The TTS log also shows fixes of file sizes on the 4 queue
files
that are open all the time - also consistent with the server crashing
and
re-booting itself.
The drives have plenty of space - more than half empty. The hot-fix
area
has not been used. During the day the server is fine. I have loaded
conlog and remmed it out of the Autoexec.ncf so that it won't
overwrite
the file next time it boots up. Hopefully that will provide some
clues.
Does anyone have any other ideas? No new software or patches have
been
loaded and prior to the power outage the server did not have this
problem
in the year + that it had been running. I checked the UPS and it has
a
full charge and almost no load.
