filter exception for microsoft vpn
Hi,
I have a customer who is trying to connect from a microsoft xpsp2 box to a
windows server 2003 server using the microsoft vpn.
I have bordermanager 3.9sp1 running and nat enabled on the public interface.
Is this gonna work (because of issues with the gre protocol being dropped in
the past in bm38) ?
Which filter exception is the proper one. Do not see it in the filter
exceptions book of Craig.
Any help is really appreciated.
regards,
Marcel

I did not put in an example because the problem is not a filtering
problem. MS VPN uses the GRE encryption protocol, which does not work
through NetWare NAT, regardless of filtering. (Unload IPFLT to disable
filters and the VPN still won't work).
