Mouse response in Citrix Metaframe
We have a Citrix metframe app on the intrenet that was working fine with
BM 3.8 and NW 6.5 sp4. Once we upgraded the OS to NW 6.5 sp6 - the
mouse response became bad - especially when seleting menu items. Novell
would not help - 3.8 is no longer supported so we updated our lab to
3.9.1 and the mouse issues continue. I would think it was TCPIP - but I
have upgraded lab to the newest TCPIP I could find - still have mouse
issues.
To be clear - the mouse moves and looks fine - but when you click on
items nothing happens. To select menu items you must use the keyboard.
We are in the process of trying sp7 - knowing that is what Novell will
say - but was wondering if anyone out there has any ideas?

Need more information here.
Do you have a URL you can post and some sort of test procedure? I can
test through various BMgr servers.
Sounds a bit like a LAN driver issue, but it could be lots of things.
Also, check tips 1, 23 and 63 at the URL below.

Re: Mouse response in Citrix Metaframe
Same problem here. We are running nw6.5sp7 with all current patches and
bm3.9 SP1. Latest proxy.cfg from craig. Citrix (ICA) access and RDP
access (VDI) Through the proxy has such a big delay that mouse movements
are jerky and slow.
We have an older bm 3.8 server that is working fine with ica and rdp
???

It looks like a known issue with the tcp stack/proxy and the push flag.
Can you take a lan trace and verify the proxy removes the push flag when
sending the info to the citrix server? if affirmative and you're willing
to test a new tcpip/proxy combination, give me an email address and i'll
send it. ( specify which tcpip, null or domestic)
